Multiple DVI video displays can be connected to a single DVI video using the DVI Splitter. This device acts as a signal amplifier that supports up to eight monitors away from your computer DVI source or DVI signal and sends the same image to all screens simultaneously. By cascading or chaining these video splitters, the number of display units may be higher. To view the video DVI to even greater distances, these separators can be connected to the STP DVI Extenders over UTP cable. Monitors, HDTVs, projectors and plasma screens can be conducted for them.
Also known as DVI distribution amplifiers, these devices play digital video signal and maintain the high resolution up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz without any distortion in the images shown. These dividers are easy to install and come with the Plug and Play functionality. A users simply connect the DVI video source to the divider whose output is connected to the DVI video displays. One advantage of using this separator is that it allows use a single source to send video to multiple locations rather than requiring a separate system for each. Another advantage is that it supports the DDWG standard for DVI compliant monitors. The DVI video splitter is available in several types, including a hall, two video output of a single link, an input and four output video from a single link, and one mouth, two output video splitter dual link signal.
The first dispatches a single link DVI video source to two Single-Link sample while the second distributes a single link DVI video source to four single-link displays and the latest model distributes a Dual-Link DVI video source two dual-link displays.
