HDMI cables are great. Almost anyone with a personal computer will probably have hours and hours and hours of MP3 music in your Windows Media Player or iTunes library, and maybe a few (or few dozen) that you download movies from Netflix, and some home videos that we have maintained for posterity. The problem is that no always nice to hear the music low end computer speakers or watch movies on your monitor.
So the HDMI cable could not have come at best, allowing us to run directly from the media the right computer on the TV without having to worry about burning a bunch of CDs or DVDs to enjoy our music and movies on something better than my laptop screen.
