How can I get my TV to pick up the coaxial cable channel?
I connected my Philips TV from a coaxial cable in my new apartment, but each channel is diffused. I do not have cable or antenna, I just want the basic channels.
"The basic channels" do not appear magically. Can or connect the TV to an antenna and get it for free enterprise or pay a bit of cable or satellite signals to provide for you. Most likely the cable output coaxial finding is a departure from the cable company and the channels that are blurred are involuntarily only through leaks. There is a slight possibility that the cable goes to a large antenna on the roof or basic cable included with the rent. If that is the case of people who rent the place probably would have said. A short conversion with the owner or the neighbors will probably clarify this. They might know what type of antenna that works best in your location as well. If you need to know what kind of antenna to test, your zip code, distance to transmitters, and what's between you and the transmitters of information is critical.
