Connecting a home theater system to decoders.?
I have an LCD TV. My DVD player (home theater system) is already attached to it. So when I see a VCD / DVD, I get the sound of home theater speakers. But how can I get the sound of my TV channels (which comes from my set top box) to make it my home theater system. Is there any way to connect the decoder to the DVD player.?
Find any audio output jack in the box. Unless the box is high definition, will not get surround sound, but there should be RED / WHITE compound AUDIO OUT connectors. Skip the red / white the audio output cables to the input of the receiver should get stereo. If you have a home theater in a box "system with receiver / player DVD in one unit, probably out of luck because these devices do not have the connectivity that a custom built system.
